Mr Rupert Montagu

Rupert has been active in the venture capital industry for over 25 years. He co-founded Greenspring Associates in 2001, which was acquired by StepStone Group in 2021. Greenspring was a pioneering venture capital fund of funds manager which managed close to $20 billion on behalf of institutional investors, family offices and sovereign wealth funds, investing in funds managed by many of the elite US and international venture capital firms. Greenspring was also a direct investor in early-stage private technology and healthcare companies, many of which have grown into world leaders in their respective industries. Rupert maintains deep relationships with many of the top-tier venture capital firms in the United States and elsewhere. He has an MBA from London Business School and an MA with Honors from Edinburgh University.
